Bins of decorative stone and river rock at the DeLand yard

Stone

Decorative stone, river rock, granite, coquina & shell.

From clean-white beds to a deep brown river-rock border, the right stone makes any Florida landscape look finished — and stays looking sharp longer than mulch. We stock the full range — decorative river rock, granite, crushed coquina, washed shell, Seminole chips, and more — by the cubic yard or by the ton.

How much do I need?
1 cubic yard ≈ about 125 sq ft at 2 inches. Always lay landscape fabric first — Florida sand swallows stone otherwise.

How do I choose the right stone for my landscape?

Think about color, size, and use. Borders and beds usually look best with 1–2 inch decorative rock. Around pools, washed shell and white river rock stay cool and bright. For dry creek beds or drainage features, mix sizes for a natural look. Call us and describe the project — we do this every day.

What's the difference between decorative stone and gravel?

Decorative stone is selected for color and shape and used for landscape visibility (beds, borders, pool surrounds). Gravel like crushed concrete, limerock, and asphalt millings is built for traffic — driveways, base, and drainage. See our gravel page for those.
